Changes in Sperm by Pregnant Drinking

Are you a pregnant woman? If yes, then you should be of course aware of the fact that any pregnant woman, who is addicted to drinking, can reduce the sperm count of the son about to be born. In fact ‘The Guardian’ has recently come up with some special reports saying that pregnant women, especially those drinking more than 5 alcoholic drinks within a week, will likely going to have sons suffering from reduced sperm count. The reason is that even the baby may have consumed a part of the alcohol being drunk by the mother.
However, there was a research carried out by The Danish with regard to this case. It conducted some analysis on the pregnant women being addicted to dinking. It is said that about 347 women were asked to participate in this research. The research was actually to check the sperm count and the quality of semen of their son. The fact here was that this study realized that many parents had a son with low sperm count. However, the proportionality between higher intake of alcohol and reduced semen concentration was not perfectly clear. The reason is that there are quite a few drawbacks for this research. First of all, the number of pregnant women, who took part in this research, was not good enough to grant a guaranteed proof. Secondly, some of the pregnant women were also addicted to other habits like smoking, drug abuse etc, in addition to smoking. Finally, one of the major drawbacks was that even the men with a fertility problem will also be the reason in some cases. Hence, the reduced sperm count in the son may be due to the fertility problem in his father.
On the whole, it is quite difficult to come up with a perfect conclusion in this case.
